Vikram Gokhale

VG Productions is a new production house, basically an event management company which also makes movies, is now all set to target the small screen now. The news is it is making a show for Colors. The show is tipped to be aired in November for which the shoot will begin this month end. The show is tentatively titled <em>Vidhwa</em>.

TellyChakkar had earlier reported that Farooque Shaikh was tipped to be a part of Hats Off Productions’ <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/dahan-now-karegi-mera-naam-roshan>Karegi Mera Naam Roshan</a></em>. However the buzz now is that Vikram Gokhale has replaced him. Says a source, “Yes, <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/sufi-roadies-karegi-mera-naam-roshan>Farooque Shaikh</a> was going to be a part of the show but now he has been replaced by veteran actor Vikram Gokhale. The actor has even started shooting for the show.”

Smriti Irani's <em> Viruddh</em> started on a bang but hasn't fared too well on the TRP charts. The show with a very good starcast is now daring to go the whole hog to rope in viewers. A quick dekho of the last episode had the daughter trying to kill her father. For the uninitiated, here's a recap.
