The latest contestant to get evicted from the final five of Star Plus’ <em> Voice of India 2 </em> is Ritisha Padmanaba. She was one of the bottom three contestants along with Ravi Shukla and Saptaparna Chakraborty. A source from the show says, “After the format change Ritisha, Ravi and Saptaparna found themselves in the danger zone and Ritisha was eliminated because of the lack of votes.”

Zakir Hussain gets eliminated from <em> Voice of India 2 </em>. He had made a wild card entry in the show just two weeks ago and he will be seen bidding good bye to the show once again, this week. A source from the show informed, “ Zakir Hussain comes in the bottom three along with the co-contestants Ritisha and Ravi Shukla. But Zakir could not get sufficient votes from the public to survive and he got eliminated.”

The highpoint of tomorrow’s episode is the presence of Ajay Devgan on the sets of <em>VOI 2</em>. The actor is promoting his latest release <em>Golmaal Returns </em>. As we all know the Friday’s episode is Freaky Friday, the day of elimination, it was decided that neither the judges nor the audience will decide who will be eliminated, and it will be the contestants who will vote out one of them out. But the friendship between the girls, Ritisha and Saptaparna is so strong that instead of voting their friends they decided to vote themselves out.

In tonight’s elimination episode of,<em> Voice of India </em>, it is Rohit Sonar who bids goodbye to the show. The judges felt let down and said that another promising singer was ousted from the show. The episode will also mark the comeback of the top five contestants of last season of,<em> VOI</em> namely Harshit Saxena, Toshi Sabri, Sumitra, Irfan and Priyani Vani who will be pitted against the five finalists of the show.

Luck doesn’t seem to be on the side of Rahul Mukherjee, a contestant in Star<em> Voice Of India</em> 2 from Maharashtra. This week the singer is ousted from the show as his performance failed to strike a chord with the judges. A source informed, “Rahul Mukherjee gets eliminated this week in Star <em>Voice Of India</em> 2. It was a Sukhwinder Singh special episode where Rahul sang <em> Lagan Lagi</em> from the movie<em> Tere Naam</em>.”

All the speculations come to an end with the announcement of the names of the biggies who are going to adjudicate the second season of <em> Star Voice of India</em>. Playback singer Sukhwinder Singh, acclaimed music director Ismail Darbar and <em> Saawariya</em> fame Monty Sharma will judge<em> Voice of India 2</em> which Shaan will host. This is Sukhwinder and Monty’s maiden endeavour as judges on a show. <em> VOI</em> is Ismail Darbar’s second show as a judge who has two seasons of<em> Saregamapa</em> to his credit.
