Zaara

As reported earlier, <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/sabki-laadli-bebos-future-hangs-balance>Sabki Laadli Bebo</a> will soon have a high point when Amrit’s (<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/anuj-sachdev-says-ta-ta-bye-bye-bebo>Anuj Sachdev</a>) character will be killed in the show and a new set of actors will enter it. Model-turned-actor Jatin Grewal will be making his entry as a lead.

Don't blame the Indian Premier League, the axe was hanging dangerously on three shows of Sahara One anyway. Well, the time's finally up for <em> Zaara, Solhah Singaarr</em> and<em> Main Aisi Kyun Hoon</em>. The three shows will wind up at the end of this month. When contacted Sahara One Programming Head Kalyan Sundaram said, "There are a few shows which are under the gun but I can only comment on their fate after a week."

Samiksha Jug may be gone from <em> Zaara</em> but, if sources are to be believed, the producers haven't pinned on her replacement yet. Sonia Kapoor, who was earlier reported to have stepped into <em> Zaara</em>'s shoes, has supposedly fallen out of favour with the producer. Apparently, they are now conducting auditions for the same. When contacted producer Binaifer Kohli (Edit 2 productions) refused to speak saying that she was busy in a meeting. Sonia Kapoor too claimed ignorance to the recent developments and said that she was very much part of the show.

Samiksha aka the original <em> Zaara </em> is on a roll but not on television. The ravishing actress has bagged a bilingual south flick which will be in Tamil and Telugu. Besides that she is also doing a Bollywood project. She hasn’t quit television but is not interested in doing any more saas-bahu sagas. “I want to put a stop to all tearjerkers as I think I have done enough of those,” she says.

It was only time before the inevitable happened. Samiksha Jug has finally quit <em> Zaara</em>. Replacing her is Sonia Kapoor who initially won’t be coming in as <em>Zaara</em>. When contacted, Samiksha Jug said, “It’s true that I’m quitting <em> Zaara</em>. I’m currently shooting and will let you know more on this later.” Sonia too confirmed on her joining the show but couldn’t speak much on it as she too was preoccupied with her shoot.

Malini Kapoor, who was last seen in Sahara One’s <em> Zaara,</em> is excited these days. After exiting from the show, the actress was on a house hunting spree and finally her search is over. “I finally bought a one BHK flat on Malad Link Road. It’s very near by my old home and I'm enjoying doing up its furnishing,” says Malini

Amit Dolawat who is currently seen in Zee’s<em> Betiyaan </em>has entered Sahara One’s<em> Zaara</em> in the role of a Muslim boy. He will be the love interest of Khushi (Ami Trivedi). The actor is all charged up for his new role as he will be romancing the heroine for the first time in his career. “For the first time I’ll be playing a romantic lead in the show. The best part about this show is that I can be myself,” says Amit.

The <em> Kittu</em> girl, who has disappeared from the scene, is back with <em> Zaara Pyaar Ki Saugat</em> on Sahara One. She will be essaying the role of Khushi in the serial. The bubbly actress maintained a low profile after <em> Kittu Sab Janti Hai</em> as she was busy with theatre. “It’s a great opportunity to be back with Sahara One. My play is concluding this January and this was the first offer that I received which was interesting. Thus I took it up and am looking forward to it,” says Ami. She begins to shoot for the serial tomorrow.

<em> Zaara </em> (Sahara One) is in for a sweeping change with the majority of the star cast leaving the show. According to sources, Shagufta Ali, Rajeev and a reluctant Samiksha Jug (Zaara) have agreed to remain with the show. All the other characters have been bumped off.
