Zee Caf

Zee Café starts an environmental movement <em> Green Turn</em> to contribute in the cause of Global warming. It is long term movement which will have several steps. The first step of this movement is going to be taken on 5th June, World Environment Day.

Now, this really bodes well for Zee Café. The hugely popular American teen drama, Orange County will return on the channel with its second season starting 30 June, every Friday at 10:00 pm. OC's first season had premiered almost simultaneously on Zee Café and Star World although the former telecast the finale a while back because they aired two episodes every week as opposed to the latter's one. The season finale of OC will be telecast on Star World this week. The show was launched in India in December 2005.

Zee Café, brings in a new flavour this winter with a cookery show, <em>Oliver’s Twist</em>. The show, which also captures the best in culture and style from London street life, is all set to premiere on Zee Café from 18 December, 2005 on Sunday afternoons at 1:00 p.m.

This one's big! After <em>A Mouthful of Sky, Bombay Talking</em> will be the second English language soap to be produced in India. The show, based on the lives of Page 3 socialites will air on Zee Cafe by the first week of November. Produced by UTV, this is one venture that seems to be an attempt to tap the English speaking urban upwardly mobile junta, who are avid viewers of the channel.
