It had to happen sooner than later. Manisha Karmakar is eliminated this week in <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/meghna-kumar-out-idol>Indian Idol</a>. Karmakar who has earlier done <em>Sa Re Ga Ma Bangla</em> was always confident of being in the top 5 but has been faring quite badly in the last couple of weeks.

<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/hussain-replaces-prajakta-indian-idol>Hussain</a> has just stepped in, <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/after-chaotic-crowds-now-no-more-celebs-indian-idol-5-auditions>Indian Idol 5</a> and has shot for three days and though Abhijeet Sawant was part of the first schedule, he won’t host the gala rounds. Hussain alone is expected to host all the studio episodes.

Here is good news for all Hussain fans. He is back with the fifth season of <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/police-refuse-permission-delhi-auditions-indian-idol-5-cancelled>Indian Idol</a>. He is replacing Prajakta Shukre as host in the gala rounds. He is co-hosting it with Abhijeet Sawant. Shukre hosted auditions of this season which was conducted in various cities of India.

Television actors are now beginning to find their feet in Bollywood. The success of actors like <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/uproar-parliament-over-sach-ka-saamna>Rajeev Khandelwal </a> and Prachi has led the way for others. Well, <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/mini-mathur/mini-mathur-host-sony-s-next-reality-show>Hussain Kuwajerwala </a> and <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/baby-borrowers/celeb-couples-baby-borrowers>Shakti Anand </a>, two of television’s most popular actor, are set to set to play lead in a Bollywood film.

Juhi Parmar and Hussain are amongst the best on-screen couples of television. After all, we’ve seen them together on<em> Kumkum</em> for the last six years. Naturally, they are bound to share a good chemistry. It’s the same on the dance floor too. Hussain and Juhi were at their steamy best in Sahara One’s reality show<em> Saas vs Bahu</em>. The duo danced perfectly to the romantic number<em> ‘Mere haath mein’</em> from the film<em> Fanaa</em>. The number had quite a few sweltering steps that needed Juhi and Hussain be very intimate physically. But they performed with élan.

It’s <em>Saas v/s Bahu</em>, so males get no role to play. However, it’s always a male that binds them. Sahara One’s upcoming dance reality show <em>Saas v/s Bahu</em> is no different. Some of top male actors on television like Hussain, Aman Varma, Naman Shaw, Sharad Kelkar and Chetan Hansraj will make their presence felt in the mega reality show that will feature as many as 100 celebrities.

Hussain Kuwajerwala, who had reached the final three only to get evicted later from 9 X’s dance based reality show <em> Yeh Hai Jalwa </em>, is back on the show as the wild card entry. On Sunday, 25 May, the co-host of the show Smriti Irani , introduced a twist to the show by announcing that there will be a wild card entry. The two finalists Rakhi Sawant and Ronit Roy will be joined by two special judges who will vote for the best performer amongst all the evicted participants who would join them in the final leg of the show and battle it out for the coveted title.

The actress who won hearts as Bani in <em> Kasamh se</em> and also won the <em> Jhalak Dikhla ja </em> title will no longer be seen on the small screen. Atleast for now. Prachi has also been evicted from the reality show <em> Yeh Hai Jalwa</em> where she is seen currently.
