MUMBAI: Will Smith has been in the news for the past few weeks for a lot of wrong reasons. From slapping Chris Rock at Oscars 2022 to losing projects because of the incident, Will made it to the headlines many times. Now, today, the actor was spotted at the Mumbai airport. There have been rumours that Will and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith might get divorced and netizens are wondering why the actor made a visit to India.

Netizens wonder whether Will is entering Bollywood. A netizen commented, “Will entering Bollywood lol.” One more commented, “Thrown out of Hollywood so trying his luck in Bollywood.”

A netizen wrote, “Bhai zara Dur se hi bachke, kahi thappad na maar de.” One more commented, “Don't worry people he will not slap us. Nice guy.”

There were reports that after the Oscars 2022 slap incident, projects that Will Smith was supposed to star in were put on the back burner and some of them have been shelved. However, there’s no official announcement about it.

After the 'slap' incident at Oscars 2022, Will had apologised and wrote on Instagram, “My behavior at last night’s Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable. Jokes at my expense are a part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally. I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. Sincerely, Will.”
