Bong actors wish a very #HappyFathersDay

Spider-Man is there; Iron Man is there and our desi superheroes like Shaktimaan and Krrish are also there…but no matter how many superheros we talk about, for a child his father will always remain the real superhero. And a father remains so even when the child turns an adult.

So, on the occasion of Father's Day, Tellychakkar.com caught up with a few Bong actors to know what this occasion means to them, what kind of relationship they share with their real superhero and how are they planning to celebrate the day. Take a look.

Prapti Chatterjee:- For me these so called days don’t mean much. I believe in celebrating it all throughout the year. My dad is a funny man; he is very chilled out and optimistic. I have made no such plans yet because of my busy schedule but will definitely go out for dinner if nothing else.

Rajdeep Gupta:- Well, me and my dad are like friends…at times I feel he is the son and I am the dad. Before taking any decision we both need to call each other and discuss. He is a shy person and doesn’t express much. He loves showing me off…I hear that from his friends…but he is my superhero. I won’t do anything different that day as every day is special for the special person but will try getting him a gift.

Shampa Banerjee:- For me my father has been the greatest guiding force on earth. We share a very friendly relation. I believe that one’s attachment to his or her father or mother cannot be attributed to just one day. For me everyday is a Father's Day…every day is a Mother's Day.

Rajib Basu:- Father's Day for me is a day when I miss my father the most because he is no more with us…My father is my hero for his magnetic personality.

Amrita Chattopadhyay:- Honestly, it means nothing to me. I am very close to him. I guess its really stupid to celebrate a Father's or Mother's Day. Chocolate or a book can be a fun gift; other than that there are enough reason to celebrate our bond. I don’t need a day.

Biswarup Bandyopadhyay:- Father's Day is fine but I have a problem with the fact that why on a particular day we have to celebrate it by showing love, respect, and updating status on Facebook!  What about the other 364 days? I feel we should show love and respect to him on other days as well. I respect my father a lot. I might be rough and tough with others but in front of him I become a quiet child. Its not out of fear but out of respect. There are no such plans for the day; I might take him for dinner.

Happy Father's Day everyone!!!
