India's 60th Independence Day... expectedly, it's time to hoist and celebrate. Subsequently, 15th August will see the Prime Minister hoisting the flag at Red Fort followed by the glilttering parade. While these festivities transpire every year, we think the relevance of this historic day isn't catching up with the youth.

Large number of our population falls under the age group of 35. But how many of them feel deeply rooted to their motherland? Cynics point out that the young generation of the country have completely forgotten their roots by way of American degrees, MNCs, MTV, McDonalds and fancy gizmos .
So, what does freedom, patriotism really mean to the `Chak De' generation. On the eve of the Independence day, Mayur Lookhar and Rachna Trivedi spoke to few of our young patriots from Tellywood.
