My mom is my guide, my friend and my support. All days are her days. Though on this day, I would grab the opportunity to thank her and make her feel special. Today I might take her shopping and buy whatever she wants. I am a beautiful mix of my mom and dad. I take my acting and creative skills from my mom.

I always forget when Mother’s Day is as I share that bond with my mom every day. Whenever I get a little chance, I make her feel special. All my friends say that I look and talk exactly like her. She does a lot for me. When we fight, my brother gets in between saying 'time out time out'! And yes, I give her massages at times and she says it relaxes her a lot.

Few months back when my maid was on leave and I had to shoot at odd times, my mom prepared not only my lunch, but also snacks and packed it up nicely!

She taught me everything from how to eat healthy and dress myself, to how to react to any situation. She taught me little things like how to tie my shoes and to be polite and be respectful to adults. She is my best friend and everyday is Mother's Day to me. I still have a lot to learn from her and I hope one day I become the replica of my darling mummy.

I vent all my anger, fear, sadness, sorrows and disappointment in front of her and get back a lot of unadulterated love and warmth. She will listen to all my qualms and will always have solutions to the tackiest of problems. She's my calmer, my meditation and my troubleshooter. I'm proud of my mom and can't function without her presence. We kids should always cherish our moms as our greatest possessions on earth.  I'm actually my mommy's little girl and will always remain that.
