Must Read: All You Need to Know About Sony TV's Bhanwar - Kalyug ki Hairatangez Kahaniyaa

Bhanwar on Sony TV

Bhanwar…The name, the title has a lot of recall value. Remember the good old 1990s when Sony Entertainment Television came up with one of the most thought-provoking shows ever, with the same above name? Yes, of course.

Sony TV, as a channel, over the years, has churned out shows which are legen…wait for it…dary (a la Barney Stinson). The Aahats, CIDs, and Just Mohabbats of the world are a part of our lives now.

Bhanwar falls in the same league, which gifted all a unique television viewing experience.

Now, raise your hands in the air and say… “Ohh la la” in extreme joy.

Reason? Bhanwar is returning to TV screens, to entertain and educate again.

Yes, the docudrama based on legendary court judgements, that changed the face of judiciary, will telecast every weekend at 9 PM on Sony TV, starting 10 January, 2015.

As the show returns to the television sphere after a decade, we tell you why you MUST not miss the second installment of this amazing venture...read on:

Plot:

In an age where we are still obsessed with melodramatic shows and family sagas, here's a real-life drama that will make us sit up and take notice. The courtroom drama will revolve around stories, which will shock, intrigue and amaze you. Court cases will be used as a narrative format to bring alive the grim reality of changing relationships of today’s society. Therefore the tagline Kalyug Ki Hairatangez Kahaniyaa. Each story will take the viewer on an emotional journey wading through the RIGHT, the WRONG and JUSTICE. Educating the viewer about their rights and the law will be a subtext throughout the series.

Cast:

Any real-life drama adapted for the small screen requires a powerful cast. Because when you have to recreate gory scenes and hard-hitting courtroom scenes  you need actors who can pull off these with aplomb. Perhaps that's why actors Surendra Pal and Tarun Khanna have been roped in to play pivotal roles.

Jaago Grahak Jaago:

Apart from the daily dose of courtroom narrative, the show promises to acquaint the viewers with our fundamental rights and the law. These cases act as eye openers for the 'aam janata' who can learn a rule or two from the court proceedings. When an interesting show turns informative, it becomes a hit show.

While the first edition of the show made us familiar with thrilling stories and dashing courtroom arguments, the sequel promises to be even more hard-hitting, well researched and dramatic.

What, as viewers, are your expectations from the show? Will it showcase the incidents in a sensitive manner or not? Considering what an amazing innings the makers have had with the original, we can safely bet that this one will be bigger, better and classier. Are you ready to be taken on a judicial high? Don't forget to tune into the show every Saturday and Sunday.
