TV actors (female) share their fondest memory of their mom
Today is Mother’s Day, and after talking to the male folks of the industry, we spoke to the fairer sex and asked them about their favourite and fondest memory of their mom. Shafaq Naaz I have many beautiful memories with her. Last year during her birthday, I was confused as to what to gift her. I wanted to gift something unique so I decided to get her name tattooed on me. Seeing it, she started crying with joy. Reena Kapoor Whatever bigger things we have got is through our mother. Our mom is a very emotionally strong person and that strength we have got it from her. My mother is a woman of very little words and immense strength of values. She has an unwavering faith in God and our Guruji which is our biggest possession. Nowadays she is not keeping very well, so she is like a kid to us, my two elder sisters, my brother and me. We take care of her now like how she used to take care of us when we were young. Giaa Maanek I struggled a lot for two and a half years before getting my first break and my mother was the one who actually accompanied me to every audition. Be it anywhere. I had no car but still she used to travel all the way from Thane to all my auditions. As much as I have struggled, so has my mother. She is my greatest strength. I am where I am today because of her. Sumona Chakravarti Last year on my 25th birthday, I remember I kind-off mentioned a couple of times that I was really excited for my 25th and I wanted it to be really special. But I had no idea, how that would happen. I was out for a get-together with all my friends and when I returned home on the eve of my birthday around 3am, and there stood this really huge box of gifts which had 25 separate gifts all packed and made pretty just for me. Not just that, every gift had more than 2-3 other gifts packed together as one. And all of this was planned by my dearest Mom. It really touched my heart. It was my best birthday ever. Adaa Khan I have always had the best memories of my life with my Mom. And it does make me emotional since she is no more. She has always been my pillar of support. She supported me throughout my journey into the industry and every memory that I have with her makes it all the more special. I miss her a lot. Palak Jain I remember clearly, this was few years back. My mom always pushed me to learn to cook. So I promised her, I’d make something special for her on her birthday. Since I was really bad at cooking, I tried experimenting with Maggi which was an absolute disaster. Though it tasted horrible, she still ate it and even appreciated me. She said it is the effort that matters not the result. Kanchi Kaul Every memory with my Mom is a memorable one. The best part about the relationship that we share is that we are more like best friends than a mother-daughter duo. We love having ice-creams and chocolates together. And I think these are the little things that make up unforgettable memories.
