This is not all! Tanaaz Currim and Vivek Vaswani will soon be seen in 36 Chinatown. Lately there have been a slew of stars who have done commendable jobs on the big screen - Rohit Roy, Yash Tonk and Maninee De have all been part of big projects!

Who's next, we wonder!

JD finds Gattu next door!

Producer JD Majethia has taken a fondness for his neighbour's son. He's often heard talking about the little boy who keeps greeting him with an enthusiastic "Jai Shri Krishna" any time of the day.

JD has two daughters, Kesar and Misri, and unlike most actors he's not into discussing them with his colleagues. So it came as a surprise for all when he spoke boundlessly about this little kid, who lives next door. It was only later that JD realised who the kid was inspired by - he was play acting "Gattu" (Deven Bhojani in Baa Bahoo Aur Baby)!

No wonder JD finds him lovable!

Amit to hone his marketing skills!

Amit Khanna the naughty Veer in Star One's Yeh Dil Chahe More has been burning the mid night oil of late. No the actor was not only busy shooting for his show which has moved from road to home(from shooting in the lorry to back to the family) but he has simultaneously been preparing for his first year, second semester MBA examinations. The actor is doing his part-time post graduation from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Technology in Mumbai.
"I think education is must for everybody and comes in handy to fall back on anytime in ones life. I am doing my MBA and specialising in marketing and soon i might have to start getting my books on the sets," smiles the down to earth actor.
Here's hoping the actor puts the marketing skills he learns to push ahead his career as well.

Kasamh Se inspired by Kalyug!!!!

Using Bollywood numbers in television shows is increasingly becoming a popular medium of promoting the song as well as an easy method of creating drama, easing tension or portraying a mood of celebration in shows.

Thursday's episode of Zee's Kasamh Se used Kalyug's popular number, Judaa Hoke bhi to highlight the mood of Jay Walia who was trying to cope with the loss of his love!

But surprisingly, the similarities don't end there! The song also has been picturised in a similar fashion. Dark brooding background and an overpowering landscape that was prominent in the original version has inspired the Balaji show as well. "Yes, the song went well with the mood of the character so we used it! I was inspired by the picturisation as well," says creative director Sandip Sikcand.

Balaji serials have always had a filmy tune that's relevant to their shows. Kahiin to Hoga has Thoda Sa Pyar Hua Hai and even Kasamh Se has the song from Aksar, Soniye... and meri duniya hai...running through the show.

Ekta had also incorporated some of the songs from Tusshar Kapoor's flicks in her shows, Kyunki...and Kahaani...

With songs being an integral part of Bollywood, it seems that television too is looking to create some tunes of its own. The foundation has already been laid by the Rajashris' who are using original tracks in their recently launched show, Pyaar Ke Do Naam....
