She's a steady performer who delivers hits and walks away with praises for her roles. Perhaps that's what brought her to the show, which is in its ninth edition this year. While talking to the daily about her decision to take part on the show as a judge, she said, "The reason I signed on was that I wanted to reach out to more people. I felt I was still lacking in reach. I wanted to be able to connect with that audience in the small towns and interiors — people who didn’t relate to me and my movies. My blockbuster hits have created a very glamorous image of me, which is not the real me. I never had a chance to play myself. With Jhalak..., I have that now. I wanted people to see that side of me.”
