Actors Krrip Suri and Simran Kaur have been married for some time now. Their nuptial, as many would know, was low key owing to Krrip’s father’s death on the eve of the wedding.

Facing a terrible concoction of emotions, Krrip and Simran went ahead to tie the knot.

But things got murky soon after the wedlock.

Cuts in a source: “Krrip kept busy with his work, not been able to spend quality time with his wifey dear. This is when Simran took up a job of a Creative Head with the show Ishq Ka Rang Safed (Filmfarm). Finding new wings, Simran started flying high in her professional endeavour. And guess what? She apparently found personal solace in a female colleague, EP from the production unit.”

Getting to know about the alleged closeness between Simran and the EP, Krrip was left in a state of shock and asked Simran to quit, which she did.

However, the strains on the relationship were evident and prominent, and we hear it’s reached a stage where the two are set to call it quits.

Sources from the unit did confirm us on grounds of anonymity on the above development. However, there is also a theory that Simran might be a victim of work politics and her soaring success and being in good books of the makers, could have led the naysayers to spark off a gossip, leading to personal and professional discord.

A common friend of Krrip and Simran said: “Simran was literally framed into it. She is a very sweet person who was very sincere towards her work. We are in an era where people cannot easily digest the success of a person, and Simran is a clear example of it. We are happy that Krrip and Simran are together today, and have sailed through all the mess.”

Krrip told us, “Not at all. Who is telling you all these things? My wife and I are very much together. All that is talked about is rubbish. Yes, she was working as a Creative. Let me tell you, she is a very simple and modest girl completely unaware of the politics that happen in a work place. All these rumours were created by the production people. I don’t know who is spreading this news. We are very much together. I am a person who believes in having a good image. And I don’t want people to believe what they hear.”

Simran said, “Well, all this is wrong news. Krrip and I are very much together. We are happy, we will be happy forever. In fact you must be knowing that my sister is married to Krrip’s brother. So I have a niece who lovingly calls me Massi Maa. I have a well- knit family, who showers lot of love. As for the rumours, let me say that these were created by the production people who were against my growth in the company. To tell you frankly, I was appreciated by Rupali (Guha) mam and used to do all my tasks effectively. This hurt few people, and they wanted me out of the work place. And this is when the rumours spread. In fact, Krrip and I will be sharing a good news with you all soon. We will be getting remarried. As you know, our rituals are still pending owing to the tragedy that happened. And we are about to relive the moments of getting married.”
