Mika out of Colors' Comedy Nights Live?

Mika Singh

Comedy is getting serious this time!

The rivalry between popular GEC Colors and comedian Kapil Sharma is getting murkier.

Recently, singer Mika who is a permanent guest in Colors’ Comedy Nights Live (Optymistix) featured in rival show of Kapil Sharma (The Kapil Sharma Show) on Sony Entertainment Television.

Mika had accompanied playback singer Kanika Kapoor and cricketer Chris Gayle to promote his upcoming song ‘Billo’.

This move of Mika didn’t go down well with Colors and the channel, as per reports has sent a notice to Kapil's show’s production house (K9 and Frames) and the broadcaster (Sony), asking them to refrain from airing the episode featuring him.

The makers (Optymistix and Colors) feel it to be a conflict of interest and wrong on Mika's part to get involved with a competition.

Amidst all the hullabaloo, Mika has gone ahead to comment that Kapil’s show is the best. Also they being like brothers, no one can stop him from attending Kapil’s show.

The Punjabi rock star in an earlier interview with Tellychakkar.com had also maintained that he would love to promote his songs in Kapil Sharma Show.

But all these bhai chara haven’t gone down well with Colors and the makers of Comedy Nights Live as in a shocking move, they have reportedly asked Mika to move out of the show.

Haila! This is tragic!

Shared a source, "After the entire drama, Mika has been asked to leave the show. The singer will soon have a final meeting to decide on his exit from the series."

When we called Mika, he heard us out and then asked us to connect with him later. We were yet to get through him till the time of filing the story.

The producer (Vipul A Shah) and the channel representative are yet to respond to our calls and messages.

Stay tuned to this space for more updates.
