Sa Re Ga Ma Pa (Zee) is once again in the process of keeping up with it's tradition of giving us some of the gifted singers like Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghosal and Kunal Ganjawala. But time around the singer himself comes from a musically gifted family of the Maliks! We are talking about Armaan Malik, son of renowned musician Daboo Malik and nephew of Anu Malik. He's one of the contenders on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs on Zee TV. Armaan features amongst the top 10 finalists on the show and it seems is quite a hit with the judges. Though, we're quite sure Armaan has it in his genes, but now only time will prove two things - Will Sa Re Ga Ma Pa produce another celebrity singer and will Armaan be a chip of the old block?? Asma se acting tak! Neeti Mohan of Aasma fame is one heluva versatile lady! She's not only a trained singer but a trained contemporary dancer (read Jazz,Ballet and Bharatnatyam) as well and is readying to become an actor. Neeti is taking acting classes from Anupam Kher's acting institute called The Actor Prepares (in Juhu, suburban Mumbai) along with her kid sister Mukti Mohan. "It's a three month course and I am just finishing off my course which is pretty demanding and takes up 13 hours of my day. Making time for anything else is difficult for me, so I am focusing on learning for now and will soon stage a play in the institute at the end of the course," says twenty six year old Neeti who has been a dance teacher in Delhi in the past. She has also co-hosted Super Sale with Sajid Khan on Star One. Neeti got her acting keeda while in school and college. And now she aims to be a complete performer besides doing a musical play in the near future. Kudos....to the young lady! Lost and found! Remember Shilpa Kadam... The gorgeous Dr Simran in Sanjeevani who was discreetly replaced by Rupali Ganguli in the show and was seen in Naam Gum Jayega for a short while and is nowhere to be seen ever since. The actor has recently completed an ad film for Sunfeast biscuits with none other than King Khan (Shahkrukh) which was shot by ace choreographer Farah Khan. "I had a great time shooting with Shahrukh and Farah and I am excited about the ad film as it's turned out really well and we are looking brilliant. Bagging this ad was beyond my expectations," smiles the lovely lady who was a model before venturing into television shows. And this is not all, Shilpa is going places. She has also shot for a Fem and a Brooke Bond ad, apart from signing on a contract with Sahara One as she is the promotional face for the channel. Makeover time for EMET winners Talent is no longer enough to be successful nowadays with increasing stress on marketing an 'image'. What with the numerous make up, hairstyle and costume changes that the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa contestants are subjected to for each episode, the record company HMV has decided to go a step further and offer six winners the opportunity for a complete makeover. One can watch Debojit, Himani, Ujjaini, Aishwarya, Sharib and Banjyotsana stylized with a whole new look on 9 July at Spykar Style Lab from 11 am onwards. Ek Main Aur Ek Tu winners Ujjaini's & Aishwarya's appearance in a music video of the film Corporate was premiered on Zee TV on 7 July. Madhur Bhandarkar made this surprise offer to the winners of the just concluded series as part of the bag of prizes they took home. Both Ujjaini and Aishwarya are seen sporting different looks singing two songs from the film in the compiled music video. With the makeover soon, one can expect to see yet another 'image' given to these talented youngsters.
