The quirky world of television is full of stars, starry mood swings, the rat race for the stellar roles and lots more...

Rajiv writes poetry
Rajiv Paul's hobby of penning verses has almost turned professional. The guy is ready with a collection of Hindi romantic poems (lucky Delnaz!) which he wants to compile into a book. "The book is yet untitled. I am toying with a few names but believe me, it's really tough to find that one word... which symbolises all your work." Hmmm... but what next? He is frantically looking for a publisher. Any takers?

When Ansh raped Nandini
"Gauri was quite uncomfortable during the rape scene. She is a moody artiste," Akashdeep Saigal tells us. Thankfully, the Kyunki… scene was okayed in one shot. Meanwhile, Saigal who will exit the serial soon, says he doesn't want to take up any other serial immediately but he would certainly prefer doing something more for Balaji. What say you, Ekta?

Stars dance to NRI tunes
Guess where Anuj Saxena, Aamna Shariff, Juhi Parmar, Tassnim and Rajeev Khandelwal landed up during Navratri? In a nondescript village called Ena near Surat, that's chockfull of NRIs. The entire village turned up to see their favourite TV stars, we learn. The organizer of the event was Thakurbhai Patel, an NRI himself. The only hitch ? There are no flights to the village, so the stars had to travel by roads all the way to the gaon!

Mihir denies rift with Shilpa
Charming Mihir Mishra insists he is going steady with longtime Shilpa Kadam, our hints to the contrary notwithstanding.

Right now, he's busy shooting for the Zee show Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, supposedly a desi take on Sex and the City. As for Shilpa Shinde, who we had hinted was the other Shilpa in the equation, she seems to have shifted her attention to Raahil, better known to viewers as Hatim. Will this equation work?

Bechari Shefali?
The moral brigade never ceases to work in our country. So, it seems. Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) activists disrupted a show featuring Shefali Zariwalla recently. Shefali, who shot to notoriety for her music video Kaanta Laga, was to perform at the Minal Residency in suburban Bhopal and her programme was part of the nine-day long Garba Festival. But as soon as she began gyrating, VHP activists allegedly started throwing chairs on the stage, terming the show obscene and forcing her to withdraw.

Here's her decency
More on Shefali. Recently, she and her fiancee were offered a very hot and bold film opposite each other. Guess what! The couple refused. One couple who could be most comfortable with each other; but know where to draw the line in public!
