She is back after wearing the crown of the jungle queen and is on cloud nine after winning the booty. She plans to buy a house with the money she has won. In an interview to TellyChakkar the winner of Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao Mona Wasu shares her fear, the fun she had and lots more. What was your first reaction after you came to know that you had won? I couldn't believe it in the first place and was so happy to discover that I have won. The competition was really very tough both mentally and physically. I somewhere knew that I might win, but obviously not very sure about it. When I came out there were so many people who said that we wanted you to win, because we have loved watching you. I was so happy to know that I had so much of support. I got very emotional when my brother dropped in to meet me. What made you take up the show? I have always been associated with adventures and have attended lots of campaigns. Hence I found the idea of spending two months in the jungle with wild creatures very exciting. Also I had never done any reality show and was keen to do one so when Iss jungle… came my way I immediately agreed to doing it. We have to endure hunger pangs, weight loss and still work as a team without losing our cool. Which was the most challenging task you had to do on the show? The task which I really enjoyed was when my leadership was challenged. Then there was another act where Akash and I had to balance ourselves on a wooden poll. When I stood up I felt that my legs were shivering and paining too. We were standing on it for nearly fifty two minutes when the in-house doctor came and advised us not to do the stunt because it is not safe. And of course the eating part was very challenging. I had to eat spiders, lizards, rats but did it very sportingly. There were many contestants who purposely lied that they were veggies just to wriggle out, but I played the game fairly. There were talks that you would not bathe for days. That’s all bullshit. No one can smell you from the camera! I am a very easy going person and try to keep out of controversies. As I told you that I have always been associated with campaigns and adventures and I am very used to staying in such places. I know that the place is very dirty but what else you can expect from a jungle? There was not much to discuss about me and so everybody picked this point. They started teasing me that I am not a cleanliness freak. First I took it as a joke, but later at one point these things became unbearable for me. There was not a single day when I did not take bath and let me tell you there were so many others who did not bathe for so many days. But I don’t want to get into that now. I am a very simple person. I don’t like to create a scene and may be the audience saw this facet of my personality and voted for me. What would you like to say to Akashdeep Saigal? He was really unbearable at times. The way he used to talk to women was just not right. I am a woman who just cannot take comments that hurt my dignity. Hence I gave it back. How many friends did you make in the jungle? I was very happy to find a friend like IshQ Bector but he was out in the first week. I am very happy to have Anaida, Chitrashi, Aman as my friends now.
