Fashion is…

Fashion is something which one is comfortable in what he/she is wearing still managing to look stylish and elegant.

Who chooses your clothes?

I choose my own clothes. I am a shopaholic and given a chance I would shop every day.

Do you wear accessories?

Yes. I have a fetish for rings and watches.

Do you follow any brands?

I am not very brand conscious but like the collection at CK, Gucci and Versace.

Favourite shopping destination?

I love to shop in Delhi as one can find more fashionable clothes there compared to Mumbai. However, my dream shopping destinations are Paris and Miami.

Your most expensive buy?

I bought myself a diamond ring sometime ago. That was indeed an expensive buy.

Clothes you are comfortable in?

I am most comfortable in my white T-shirts and blue denims.

Must have in your wallet?

Money and credit/debit cards are a must have in everyone’s wallet. That applies to me too.

Favourite perfume?

Coco Chanel and the Burberry Body fragrance are my favourites.

Describe sale in one word?

At a sale, it is hard to find something good out of the random clothes put on display.

Currently your wardrobe is overflowing with?

My wardrobe is currently overflowing with a lot of skirts and shorts. I do not wear them quite often but am sure of having picked them up because they were quite different than the other clothes.

You have the hardest time getting dressed for?

I have a hard time getting dressed for marriages as I am not a typical girl who would like to dress up in a saree or a salwar suit. If I had a choice, I would wear a denim shirt or a gown at a function. Also if I would ever have to go on a date, I am sure I would take a long time getting dressed up.

Any fashion disaster you have come across recently?

I do not judge others and respect each person’s fashion sensibilities.

If you had to choose a fashion era; which period would it be?

I think the British era where the female folk wore lovely, classic and beautiful gowns.
