Nishad Vaidya who plays Amit in Sony Entertainment Television’s Amita Ka Amit (Swastik Productions) has a simple fashion taste and doesn’t splurge on expensive brands like many actors do. He’s happy to avail of a ‘sale’ and would be most contended to pick up clothes from malls in Mumbai instead of heading to the most expensive garment stores of Paris and Tokyo for a shopping spree. He is indeed like Amit who would rather save money instead of being a shopaholic.

Fashion is: The glamorous world.

Who chooses your clothes? I choose them myself.

Do you wear accessories? I wear rings, diamond earrings and a Jesus cross.

Do you follow any brand? No. Instead of selecting on the basis of brands, I choose clothes which I like, irrespective of the brand name.

Your favourite shopping destination: Infinity Mall in Mumbai.

Most expensive buy: My watch.

Clothes you are comfortable in: Jeans, T-shirt, jackets.

Must-have in your wallet: Rs 1000.

Favourite perfume: Gucci.

Colour that fills your wardrobe: White, black and sometimes dark
red.

Describe sale in one word: The best option to choose the best (I can’t sum up sales in a single word)

Currently, your wardrobe is overflowing with: Sunglasses.

You have the hardest time getting dressed for: My friends’ birthday parties

Any fashion disaster that you have come across recently: I have started wearing a muffler around my neck.

If you had to choose a fashion era; which period would it be? The years between 1922 and 1928.
