Having acted in several South Indian films and over 70 advertisements, Sana Khan is very much a part of the entertainment industry charming the TV watching audience by way of her shows like Arjun and Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon.

While talks are around that she will possibly be seen in the next season of the mega dance reality hit show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa on Colors, Sana indulges in a fun conversation with Tellychakkar.com as she gives some tips on investment.

How important is money to you?

It is important to keep a check on the way money is used. For me, I can survive on Rs. 100 a day.

Are you an impulsive buyer?

Yes, you can call me an impulsive buyer.

What are the investments that you have made?

I have invested in gold and have also bought a car for myself with my own hard-earned money.

What has been your most expensive purchase?

I spend a lot of money buying clothes specially branded lingerie besides bags and shoes.

Do you feel financially secured?

Yes. I am financially secured as I give almost 75 per cent of my monthly salary to my parents. So even if I fall short of money, I can always request them to help
me.

Who handles your expenses?

I handle my own expenses.

What was your first salary?

When I was just 14 years old I earned Rs. 3000 for an event out of which I gave Rs. 2000 to my mother to save on my behalf.

How much money do you carry every day?

I carry a minimum amount of Rs. 1000 in my wallet as whenever I see a lot of money in it I get tempted to go out shopping.

Your advice to new investors?

It is important to save something for ourselves. I would like to advise people to invest more on gold and real estate.
