Nia Sharma
The gorgeous Nia Sharma, who was last seen in Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain on Star Plus and is known for commitment towards her profession, is surely being missed by her avid fans today. Currently gaining some professional training in belly dancing, the pretty lady shares some investment tips with Tellychakkar.com. How important is money to you? It is tough to survive without money as we all want a particular lifestyle which is incomplete till you have the money for it. So, in short, money is very important. Are you an impulsive buyer? Yes, I am an impulsive buyer. Most of the times, I end up buying things which I don’t really require. For example, when last time I went out shopping, I liked a Zara perfume primarily because I go attracted by the design of the bottle. And though I possess a wide range of perfumes at home, I bought it. What are the investments that you have made? My family looks into the investment bit as I am too young to understand it. What has been your most expensive purchase? I splurge a lot on shades (sunglasses). I have a collection of shades by Versace, Armaani and now I have my eyes on Prada. Since I am very brand conscious, I also tend to buy expensive clothes. Do you feel financially secured? Since I am not shooting, I have a feeling of going bankrupt every time I shop for something new. So I do not feel financially secure at the moment. Who handles your expenses? I handle my own expenses. What was your first salary? My first salary was Rs. 40,000 that I earned for my first show Kaali- Ek Agnipariksha. How much money do you carry every day? I get hassled visiting ATMs to withdraw money and paying bills by cards where every time I am asked to punch in my pin number. So I make sure that I carry at least Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 6,000 when I go out. Your advice to new investors? Let your family handle your expenses.
