Star Pravah, has been at the forefront of creating unique and interesting concepts to strengthen their connect with the viewers. One such initiative that Star Pravah has flagged-off today is a series of Haldi – Kunku events across Mumbai and Pune. Haldi-Kunku serves as the platform where women come together to celebrate the spirit of sisterhood. The first Haldi Kunku of this season, held today at Nerul in Navi Mumbai, was graced by Harshada Khanvilkar (Akka Saheb) and Swapnali (Swapnali Patil) from Star Pravah’s Pudcha Pauul and were warmly welcomed by close to 1000 women from in and around Navi Mumbai. Both, Harshada and Swapnali interacted with the invitees, participated in the fun games and gave away prizes to winners. Harshada Khanvilkar (Akka Saheb), speaking on the occasion said, “This is a great initiative from Star Pravah. It is not every day that one gets to meet the very people who are the reason of our success.” An overwhelmed Swapnali Patil said, “This is first time that I am attending a Haldi Kunku event of Star Pravah. The love and adulation I have got from them today has touched me at the very core of my heart and I am very grateful for their support. This memorable experience shall stay with me forever”. A number of interesting activities were held at the event and loads of prizes were given away. One of the interesting contests held was where the invitees were asked to come dressed as their favorite character from any Star Pravah show and the best were awarded. Other activities like dance performances, mimicry and a quiz contest were held during the event.
