Sony LIV, Sony Pictures Networks’ (SPN) igital video entertainment platform, has taken its promise of a digital-first approach many notches ahead as it gets set to showcase Dilwale, one of the biggest and most anticipated Bollywood films of 2015 on a pay- per- view basis.

Sony LIV has always been at the forefront of innovation and with this initiative, it continues to provide a wide variety of content to consumers, literally, anytime, anywhere; in other words, ‘Jab Aap Chahein’. As the most eagerly awaited film of the year for Hindi cinema lovers, Dilwale brought back the much-loved chemistry of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol for die-hard fans.

Dilwale saw tremendous traction around its release in India and is breaking records across the globe as far as revenue collection goes.

Directed with the typical flair Rohit Shetty is known for, this movie brings the right dose of romance, action, drama and humour with Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon playing the younger lead pair along with Johnny Lever and Varun Sharma in supporting roles. Viewers can immerse themselves in this captivating world replete with all the elements of a Bollywood potboiler.

Talking on the same, Uday Sodhi, EVP and Head – Digital Business said, “Movie premieres have been a very important facet of the Sony LIV offering. Premiering Dilwale on Sony LIV is in line with our intent of bringing the best entertainment to our users. In 2016, too, we will continue our promise of bringing the biggest and best properties from across the globe to the digital devices of Indian netizens.”
