MUMBAI: While the fans of Saina Nehwal eagerly wait for the release of her biopic, the badminton champ has uploaded a major throwback picture from her academic days.
She took to her Instagram handle and shared a picture that sees her posing with her school friends. In the picture, Saina and her buddies can be seen in school uniform. “What a throwback pic ... #schoolmemories #loveit #bhartiyavidyabhavans,” she wrote beside the picture. A fan was elated to know that Saina studied in Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. “‘Wowww Saina ma'am. You're a Bhavans alumni’, read the comment while another fan was amazed by Saina’s posture and commented, “You had a very athletic posture back then as well.. dad was always right..athletes are born”.

The film stars Parineeti Chopra in the title role. Directed by Amol Gupte, it also features Manav Kaul, Ankur Vikal, Meghna Malik and Shubrajyoti Bharat.
