MUMBAI : Many film buffs have a soft corner for biopics, especially when they are made on sports stars whose life is full of ups and downs. M.S Dhoni : The Untold Story, Mary Kom, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag are some of the biopics that have been loved by the cinema lovers. Speaking about such films, Yuvraj Singh’s fans too would certainly love to watch his biopic as his journey is quite inspirational.

The former Indian cricketer has mesmerized the cricket fans with his cricket journey. A champion, he played a key role to help India win two world cups. However, it’s not just his cricket journey that inspires his millions of fans. He is also a cancer survivor.

In his autobiography ‘The Test of My Life’, Yuvraj has narrated his journey. While many fans have already read the book, others want to watch his biopic.

Now, when we talk about biopic the question that automatically pops up in our mind is who would essay the role of the cricketer. Well, Yuvraj too was asked the same question. And do you know what his answer was?

Well, the cricketer had mentioned Siddhant Chaturvedi’s name.  In a candid conversation, Yuvraj was asked which actor was he keen on seeing playing his role in the biopic. He wittily said, “Probably, I’d play myself — that would be a bit desperate… hai na?” and then added, “See, that’s the director’s job to decide. If it’s going to be a Bollywood film, then Siddhant Chaturvedi is a good option; I’d love to see him in the film.”

Siddhant Chaturvedi shot to fame with his performance in Ranveer Singh starrer Gully Boy. He is also known for his work in web television series Inside Edge.
