Best Reality Show

Your daily fix of drama and emotions, laced with mirch-masala is also known as reality shows. From seeing celebs dance to fight to embrace their inner fear, we have seen it all. In fact, one of the reasons the small screen is so sought after is because of these spicy shows. So how can we leave them behind in the award race?

Bigg Boss 8 (Colors):
Arguably the baap of realty shows, this Colors’ child has kept us glued to the telly screens for almost a decade now. Whether it’s Salman Khan’s jovial aura or the contestants’ epic fights and disagreements, the show is a pure delight. It’s also the series that’s made stars out of nobodies.

Khatron Ke Khiladi (Colors):
We are glad to know that our favourite stars have the same fears and insecurities as us. They are also scared of height, squirmy creatures and losing. Just like most of us. This show captures the madness of an adventure with the nail-biting tension of a drama. Throw in celeb quotient and you have a tadke-daar show.

India’s Got Talent (Colors):
Not all reality shows are for the celebs. This fun series urges commoners like you and me to showcase our extraordinary skills. From quirky, interesting, breath-taking to outrageous, the show has something for everybody.

Roadies (MTV):
Perhaps the very first reality show to actually make us sit up and notice, this controversial show had the youth from all over India take part in it. Even though it has lost its sheen now, it continues to be a TRP-hogging show with the youth.

Masterchef India (Star Plus):
When you mix gastronomical delights with the rush of quick cook-offs, you get a delectable show like this one! With amateur chefs breaking down, crying tears of joy or simply fulfilling their life-long dreams, it made for a really fun watch.
