4 Lions Films, maker of the ongoing popular show on Zee TV, Qubool Hai, is presently making a show for SET’s new channel, Sony Pal.

In addition to this, they will soon be launching a serial for Channel V titled O’Gujariya – Har Sapna Zaroori Hain.

After setting a trend on Indian television with their Muslim drama saga Qubool Hai, Gul Khan and Gorky will again work on a love story with a Muslim backdrop for Sony Pal.

News doing rounds is that popular TV actor and heartthrob, Harshad Chopda might make a comeback to small screen with this show. For the uninitiated, Harshad has not appeared on television post his stint in Dil Se Di Dua – Saubhagyavati Bhava.

A reliable source states, “Harshad has almost been finalized for the lead role. However, there are few major glitches when it comes to the monetary aspect. Harshad perfectly suits the character of the male lead, and the maker and channel are keen on finalizing him. However, everything now depends on whether Harshad and the production house can reach to a mutual consensus in terms of money.”

Also, a certain report in a tabloid suggested that this show tentatively titled Humsafar might see Jennifer Winget playing the lead role. However, this seems to be just a rumour.

Our source further states, “Jennifer has not been in the thick of things at all. Mostly, the show will see a completely new face playing the female lead. As of now, it looks like a girl from Shimla might bag the prized role. However, nothing has come to the stage of finalization yet.”

As we know, Sony Pal is scheduled for launch sometime in August. As reported by us, shows for the channel are being made by Sphere Origins, Miloni Pictures, Rashmi Sharma Productions.

We tried contacting Harshad, but could not reach him.

Our efforts to reach Producer Gul Khan were futile.

Let’s see if Harshad manages to grab this offer.
