MUMBAI: Regional general entertainment channel Aakash Aath is coming up with a musical game show, Gaan Fight, Gaane Shure Voting Right, to be aired from 27 October, every Thursday to Saturday at 9:30 PM.
The makers have roped in renowned singer Sidhartha Sankar Ray, popularly known as Sidhu, to anchor the show.
Gaan Fight is a musical game show where four renowned singers will participate in each episode. They will share their secrets and stories with their anchor as per the game rules. There will be no separate score for participants. They will score on ‘Gaan Khata’. The winner will receive a gift on the basis of the points accumulated. There will be three rounds. The twist of the show is the nomination round. One participant will be eliminated after each round on the basis of the nomination by their co-participants. The final round will be played by two final participants.
Speaking about the musical game show, Eshita Surana, Director, Aakash Aath, said, ‘We hope audience will love our upcoming musical game show Gaan Fight. The audience will get to know their favourite singer little more up close and personal. They will share their secrets, fight for the winner’s trophy, and sing their favourite songs. I am sure the audience will accept Gaan Fight just like our other shows.’
The participants of the show are new-generation singers like Paroma, Kinjal, Ankan, Iman, Adriza, Gabu, Anindya, Aritro, Pooja, Pranoy, Tomojeet, Premangshu, Rishi Tirtha, Murshid, Durnibar, Jojo, Shovan, Gautam Ghoshal, Soumya, Chandrabali Rudra, Upal, Tirtha, and Saheb.
