MUMBAI: Star Plus popular show Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 have resumed it's shooting once again. The shooting was kept at a halt after the lead Actor of the show Parth Samthaan who plays the role of Anurag Basu was tested positive for Covid-19. Karan Patel and Pooja Banerjee have resumed the shooting for the show but Aamna Sharif, who plays Komolika in the show was given a few more days off after one of her staff members was tested positive. 

It is reported in the media that both Aamna and Erica Fernandes have been shooting from home. India Forums got in touch with Aamna to know more about the same:

Since you're shooting from home, what are the challenges or difficulties that you have to face?

Our homes are not ideal locations to shoot of course but in times like this, there is no other way out.  The show has to go on but with precautions for health and safety which are necessary.

How are you coordinating with your fellow co-stars and director while shooting from home?

Balaji has luckily made the process as seamless as possible ensuring that we don't need to do the coordination and they are taking care of it so that we can just concentrate on giving our best to the show and our characters.  Generally, we do a zoom call with the creative, director, and DOP during the scene and they approve of everything.  

How are you dealing with the new norm and practices of shooting?

It's completely new and honestly I am still getting used to it.  A part of me misses the earlier carefree days but I am hoping that we are through this pandemic soon and once again can return to our previous lives but with new lessons, wiser.
