Aarya DharmChand Kumar, the talented actor who was last seen in Pratigya will be back with a bang with the stellar role of Karan in Ekta Kapoor’s Dharamshetra for the upcoming channel, Epic TV. News about the collaboration between Mahindra & Mahindra and Disney in the formation of this new channel has made headlines recently. The channel which has been named as ‘Epic TV’ will boast of rich mythological and historical content and is scheduled to launch in June or July 2013. As always, the Czarina of Television, Ekta Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Telefilms’ Bolt Media is working on a mytho cum fantasy based saga titled Dharamshetra. The show will focus on the aftermaths of the Mahabharat battle fought between the Pandavas and the Kauravas. Interestingly, the story will focus on the happenings in both the ‘Swarg lok’ and Nark lok’ and the manner in which people associated with the battle get their dues based on their karmas. Aarya was last seen in Star Plus’ Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya. When contacted, Aarya DharmChand Kumar told us, “Yes, I am doing the show, but I cannot talk on this right now.” As reported in the media, Amit Behl has been cast for the role of Dhronacharya while Ankit Arora will be seen essaying Arjun.
