Aastha Chaudhary, Nivedita Saraf, and Darpan Srivastava in Contiloe’s next, Kesari Nandan, on Colors

MUMBAI: TellyChakkar was the first one to exclusively report about Aamir Khan’s Dangal to be remade on Colors with Contiloe producing it

The show is titled Kesari Nandan. Manav Gohil will be seen playing the father, and a newbie child artist will depict the role of his daughter, whom he would train to become a wrestler.

We had also written about Marathi actress Reshma Shinde roped for the project (read here: Reshma Shinde in Contiloe Pictures’ next for Colors).

Actor Ankit Arora will play Manav’s stepbrother, and Reshma will portray Ankit’s wife.

The latest we have heard is that Saath Phere fame Astha Choudhary is marking her comeback with this show. She has been roped in to play actor Manav Gohil’s wife.

Talented Marathi actress Nivedita Joshi-Saraf, who is a big name in the industry and has many projects to her credit, has joined the team to play Dadi’s role. In addition, Jamai Raja fame Darpan Srivastava will be seen playing a significant character.

The actors have started shooting, and currently, the outdoor schedule is taking place at Jaipur.
