Colors’ Balika Vadhu, produced by Sphere Origins has already introduced the family of Shiv (Siddharth Shukla), the new guy in Anandi’s (Pratyusha Banerjee) life. We will now see the entry of Shiv’s brother and the character will be played by Abhishek Tewari of Chand Chupa Badal Mein fame. Abhishek plays a very lively character, and his screen name is Mahi. He is a big fan of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, and derives his name from the ace cricketer. He is a very chirpy guy, full of life, and will be a strong pillar to the developing relationships between Shiv and Anandi. While his character will have shades of being a Casanova, the guy can act in a very mature way when situation demands. He is the laadla son of the house and is pampered by one and all. Abhishek has started shooting for the show and his introductory scene we believe, will have a surprise element to it.
