MUMBAI : There has been a lot of speculation about Zee TV’s Guddan Tumse Na Hopayega taking a leap.

For the uninitiated, the show was supposed to take a leap post lockdown with Nishant Malkhani being eased out from the show while Kannika Mann would have been shown as Guddan’s daughter. The news didn’t go down well with the fans and they strongly opposed it hence the makers are rethinking on whether or not to introduce the track.

In a candid chat with TellyChakkar, Kanika opened up on challenges that the team would face if the leap happens. She said, “The pressure to build the chemistry with another co-actor right from the scratch is obviously there in my mind. Not only me but the writers and creatives are also under the same pressure. As an actor, I’ll feel a lot of responsibilities on my shoulders if the generation leap happens as I’m in the show right from the beginning and somewhere subconsciously the credibility of the actor who’s already a part of the show is at stake in such scenarios. I personally hope the decision of the leap is not taken, having said that, I wish whatever is the best for the show should happen."
