MUMBAI: While there are acquaintances formed in the showbiz, TV actor Adaa Khan says that most of them are not free from judgment. The actor says that she prefers spending her free time with her friends outside the industry. “I was always a bit reserved and an introvert. I open up to the people who are very close to me personally. I have never been a party person, I do spend my time with my close friends or people who are not related to the industry. The actors you work with become your friends and sometimes some such friendship lasts long. However, Ideally, I like to be with my non-industry friends, who know the real me and won't judge me for anything,” she says. 

Besides this, the actor also likes spending time on her own. “It all depends on my mood. Sometimes I read, sometimes I watch a web series and sometimes I travel alone. I enjoy my own company and when you start doing that you don't need anyone,” she says. 

She adds, “Whenever I am done with my work or I am very stressed out, I just book a flight and run away and go somewhere.” 

The actor also takes care of her house, besides her work in the industry. “I am aware of what is happening in the house. As I am the only daughter in the house, like all daughters do, I make sure the house is in order. My mom is no more and I always feel her presence. Her blessing is always with me,” she says.
