Adele to perform on 'The X Factor'?

award winning songstress Adele

If all goes as "The X Factor" bosses are planning, award winning songstress Adele could be a major attraction of the live shows of the British version of the music reality show later this year.

"Bosses are so desperate to accommodate the superstar that they’re bending over backward to secure her performance," reports dailystar.co.uk.

A whole week dedicated to the "Skyfall" singer is being planned, where each finalist will sing one of her hits.

In return, she would be expected to sing her highly-anticipated comeback single at a live show.

A source close to the singer says Adele's tempted.

“She watches the show religiously. Producers are well aware she doesn’t need the promotion. Her third album is a guaranteed success. Normally pop stars enjoy a huge boost after appearing on the show, but 'The X Factor' would be the real winners.

“She would probably give the show its highest ratings. The gig is hers if she wants it, and she seems very keen," said the source.
