Actor Ssharad Malhotra’s character in Balaji’s Kasam Tere Pyar Ki will be seen in a reverse leap on the show. Ssharad, who plays a 50-year-old currently, will now play a 25-year-old. Ssharad says he is very happy with this turn of events.

Balika Vadhu fame Toral Rasputra divorced

The institute of marriage is failing miserably these days. From Bollywood couples to television couples, everyone seems to be parting ways.

Toral Rasputra, who essayed the role of Anandi in Colors’ Balika Vadhu, had married a businessman, Dhaval, in 2012, but the couple mutually decided to part ways because of compatibility issues. Toral confirmed the news saying that the divorce was amicable and that sometimes some things don’t work the way you want them to. She further said that she was in a happy space now and that she and Dhaval would always be good friends.

Colors’ Tu Aashiqui is geared up for a new entrant: young actor Krissann Barretto. She will essay the role of Rangoli and create much disruption in the lead couple’s life in the serial. Krissann rose to fame with Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan and was last seen in Sasural Simar Ka.

Ankit has working on co-producing a travel show with a friend for the past few months. Tentatively titled Safarnama, the show will track the journey of an actor on a mission to explore places by getting closer to nature.

Jatin Bhardwaj and Shaan Grover to enter Star Plus’ Nazar

Star Plus recently showcased the first teaser of its upcoming supernatural series Nazar. Two more actors have been roped in for the show. Vani Ranifame Jatin Bhardwaj and Shaan Grover, who was last seen in web series PM Wali Selfie, will be part of the ensemble cast. In addition, Marathi actress Resham P.S. and Miss India New Zealand 2013 Sonyaa have also been brought on board. These actors will play pivotal roles in the series.

Ishita Ganguly’s eerie experience on the sets of Colors’ Kaun Hai

Colors’ recently launched horror show Kaun Hai? promises to spook viewers with its interesting storyline and shocking twists. In an upcoming episode, popular television actress Ishita Ganguly has been roped in to play the role of the protagonist, Raisa, who is a journalist.

The story revolves around a vampire (Ankit Arora) who believes that Raisa is his long-lost love and wants to win her back. The story further chronicles Raisa’s struggle to escape his fearful captivity. The episode was shot during the nights in a deserted haveli. Ishita Ganguly was scared to shoot after a couple of days as she felt that someone was watching her despite no one being around. A source tells us that one such location of the set also had to be changed because of the mysterious electrical failure that kept disrupting the shoot.

A source from the sets said, ‘Ishita got a little perplexed after shooting for a day or two. She felt that someone was watching over her constantly. She even refused to shoot during the night in the haveli, as she was afraid of that area being haunted. But with all of us supporting her, we managed to finish the shoot.’

Mithila happily says, ‘Rajat, Swati, and I have genuinely become very good friends over the three seasons of Girl in The City. We are very comfortable around each other.’

Krushna Abhishek adds a double dose of laughter on &TV’s Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain

&TV’s popular comedy show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain has secured a special place in the hearts of the audience. Viewers of all age groups enjoy the family-oriented plot. The show has often seen Bollywood stars make special appearances.

This week, fans of the show are in for a huge treat, as comedian and actor Krushna Abhishek will double the dose of laughter. The actor will be making a guest appearance on the show to promote his upcoming movie Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle.

This particular episode will see Angoori Bhabhi (Shubhangi Atre) on a date with Krushna Abhishek. Angoori and Krushna will be seen plotting Tiwari’s (Rohitash Gaud) death and deciding to pin the murder on jealous neighbour Vibhuti (Aasif Sheikh). While Vibhuti and Tiwari are eavesdropping on this conversation, the twist ahead will leave viewers in splits!

Talking about the show and working with the cast Krushna Abhishek said, ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain is one of the best comedy shows on television currently. Shashank (director) is amazing at his work and he has a brilliant team that has taken the show to the heights that it has achieved till date. We had a blast shooting for the episode.’

Sharing her experience of this episode with Krushna, Shubhangi Atre said, ‘Krushna is an amazing actor and an even better comedian. I have worked with him previously and it has always been a treat. He is equally funny in real life too. Even while shooting he comes up with some funny one-liners that are hilarious. It’s always fun to have him around and I’m glad that he was part of our show.’
