Imran Siddiqui has a 12-13 years experience in the creative field of theatre, television and cinema. The man who has served as Assistant Director, Assistant Dialogue Writer, Executive Producer, Casting Director for various production houses like Balaji Telefilms, Siddhanth Cinevision, Sphere Origin, Cinevistaas, DJ’s A Creative Unit and has been part of shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kuch Jhuki Palkhein, Yeh Meri Life Hai, Dill Mill Gayye, Balika Vadhu, Chhoti Bahu to name a few, is now gearing up for the launch of his book (English version) titled ‘From Sex to Over-Consciousness’. The book written by Imran is a counter to Bhagwan Shri Rajneesh’s ‘From Sex to Super-Consciousness’ whose outspoken criticism of socialism and institutionalized religions made his works controversial.
Imran’s Hindi version of the book titled ‘Sambhog Se Sarvanaash Ki Aur’ was launched in January 2013. The English version of the same is due for launch in March 2013. Imran we hear, is negotiating with Penguin Group for a world-wide launch.
When contacted, Imran Siddiqui told us, “Yes, the Hindi version of my book has got a warm response. I am now planning the launch of the English version of my book which is a counter to Osho Rajneesh’s thoughts. My book titled ‘From Sex to Over-Consciousness’ I believe, will be an eye-opener to the youth of today. I hope my book conveys an intellectual message about how Osho has misinterpreted our culture and religion.”
