No Armaan Kohli has not joined the Indian cricket team, but will play for Salman Khan’s cricket team in the Celebrity Cricket League.

The Celebrity Cricket League, which has become a rage across the nation, is all set to begin with a bang when it goes underway on 25 January when Suniel Shetty captained Mumbai Heroes take on Chennai Rhinos in the inaugural match that will be played in Mumbai.

This time Suniel has roped in Armaan Kohli as a player to join his team. Armaan’s recent claim to fame was his boisterous stint in Bigg Boss season 7.

Suniel, who has earlier worked with Armaan in films like Qahar (1997) and Jaani Dushman (2002), was in the know that the son of Rajkumar Kohli and yesteryear actress Nishi was good at the game of cricket.

Confirming the news Suniel says, "Armaan is a sweet boy and a good player as well and deserves to do better. I am sure adding him in our team will benefit us."

This year the CCL that will end on 23 February at Hyderabad, has total eight teams.

Incidentally, Salman Khan owns the Suniel Shetty led team and Salman was the host of Bigg Boss.
