Now the rumour that is making the rounds is that Ankita Lokhande aka Archana will also quit the show. However, fans can breathe a sigh of relief as she will call it quits only after Sushant leaves the show. It’s a known fact that the leads are a couple and very much in love. Hence the decision comes as no surprise. Moreover earlier too it has been reported that they were unhappy with the leap as they would have to play an old couple which they felt would not go down well with their current image. Our source informs, “This will definitely be a huge blow for all the fans of Pavitra Rishta as the lead couple is preparing to quit the show. Soon the show will see a major twist as it is heading for an 18-year leap in two month’s time and it is said that Ankita is not very keen on playing the role of a mother of an 18-year old child. She will quit before the leap takes place. Furthermore, Ankita’s decision was also influenced by Sushant’s declaration to leave the show.” Ankita and Sushant remained unavailable.
