MUMBAI: Here’s TellyChakkar back with another big update from TV’s popular supernatural drama Naagin.  TellyChakkar has been on the forefront reporting each development from the show.

As we know, producer Ekta Kapoor confirmed that once shooting starts, Naagin 4 will come to an end and she will immediately roll out Naagin 5 with a whole new cast. She apologized to Naagin 4 cast Nia Sharma, Vijayendra Kumeria, Anita Hassanandani, Jasmin Bhasin, Rashami Desai, and other actors from the Naagin 4 cast for failing them with the season and announcing its closure. She revealed that she failed to do justice to Naagin 4's plotline and owing to the Coronavirus situations she has to take a call to pull the plug on Naagin 4. However, she assured everyone that she will give the season a logical and fantastic end.

We also reported exclusively about Beyhadh 2 fame Shivin Narang is in the race to depict the male lead in the serial.

Now, as per the latest development, we hear that Bengali actress Aindrita Ray, who has featured in several Kannada films and recently seen in ZEE5’s The Casino, is in talks to play shape-shifting serpent in Naagin 5. However, our sources inform that the talks are on and the final decision is yet to be taken.

As per reports, actresses who have apparently been approached for fifth season are Hina Khan, Dipika Kakar, Kratika Sengar, Gauahar Khan while for male lead’s role actors namely Asim Riaz and Paras Chhabra were doing rounds.

However, if things go fine Shivin may win the race to bag the show.
