Punctuality is a word that’s often not synonymous with Indians and especially our Bollywood stars. However, proving this wrong is Ajay and Kajol Devgan and Tanuja – the three judges of Zee TV’s Rock ‘N’ Roll Family. The trio arrives early on the sets much before the scheduled time and wind things off quickly. The Devgans are never fond of keeping the crew waiting and thus they make it point to be punctual every time. Director Satish Datt, “We are amazed to see their professionalism. All three of them arrive before time. Ajay comes half an hour early, while Kajol and Tanuja take just 90 and 60 minutes respectively to get their make-up done.” Adding further, he says, “Ajay and Kajol had made it clear in the beginning that they wouldn’t stretch the shoot beyond 7.00 pm as they have to attend to their daughter Nysa. The scheduled lunch break is for 30 minutes but we usually stretch it to one hour. However, our judges are ready within 30 minutes and request the shoot to commence immediately. Also, there’s always a 15 minute changeover break between two performances but they remain seated patiently waiting for the next contestants.” The Devgans sure know the true meaning of time and tide wait for no man.
