Ek Ladki Anjani Si of Shreya Creations has been pulled up by the channel for quite a few reasons. The first was the out of control story line, and then came a complaint from Ajay Gehi who plays Aryan in the show. Why has Aryan suddenly vanished? Aryan played by Ajay Gehi has disappeared since a fortnight and Manasi aka Sonam looks lost in the show. The question prompted us to talk to Ajay, "Well I haven't the faintest clue. The last time I heard from the co-ordinators was 15 days ago, he just called to tell me that I did not have a shoot the next day. Since then I haven't got a single call from them." Ajay voices that days later he read in a newspaper about Cezzanne's grand entry and a character brief with that, "I was surprised to get to know it from the scribes; and the progress of the character gave me a deja vu about my story sitting with them. They had told me that Aryan would end up in a love triangle with Anu and now Cezzanne has entered. I don't know how the mould is going to look?" So he doesn't know why his character disappeared. Has he shared the grievances with the channel and the production house? "Well yes, I have had a word with the production house who isn't responding. In fact I am really upset because I feel I have been cheated with and conned into doing a role that want meant to turn out the way they had assured me it would. Aryan has not taken shape at all. There was a time I was shooting day and night and now I haven't had a scene in 15 days." What is the channels take on it? "The channel has been very supportive and fortunately they are on my side. They will have a talk with the production house." Ek Ladki as we have commented earlier has gone on a completely different track with too many digressions spoiling the plot. Today after years of being on air the show still struggles to unite Nikhil and Anu. They added characters to pepper the story but it hasn't worked most of them are lost in the limbo including Ajay and Mansi Salve, the new name to enter the saga is Dhruv Mehra- a Neurosurgeon, played by Cezzanne to add new twists to Nikhil and Ananya's life. Dhruv's entry was grand; however once he entered he broke up the foursome that was intended to be. The track change is sudden and confusing. Aryan and Sonam were brought in a haphazard manner to bring Nikhil and Anu together after the insinuated love triangle between the Anu and Aryan. Now that Dhruv has taken Aryan's space on the screen what is Aryan going to do? "I don't know my status now and I don't know if they Aryan is at all a part of the script anymore." Well he's right, with Dhruv becoming an instant hit with the fans it's going to be difficult for the show to be centred on anyone else. The production house should have informed the actors regarding the significant change in script. It's unfair to stars, who block their dates and then wait for the character to show up.
