Akash (Ankit Mohan), the brother of Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) will be shown to be the bridge for both Abhi and Pragya’s (Sriti Jha) families to connect in Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya, produced by Balaji Telefilms.
Why are we saying so?
Well, it is because of a revelation that will unfold in the coming week. Akash, is presently shown as Abhi’s younger brother who is attached to him and listens to him in everything that he says. Akash is also shown to be a complete mumma’s boy.
A certain revelation will shock audience when it will be shown that Akash and Rachana (Aditi), sister of Suresh (Faisal Rashid) had a love angle before.
A source states, “Akash would have fallen for Rachana and it would have been a beautiful and cute love angle between them. But because of Rachana’s middle class background, Akash’s mom would not have been in favour of her son getting married to Rachana. Hence, she would have convinced her son to not marry her and marry a big-shot daughter instead.”
When contacted, Ankit Mohan who plays Akash says, “Akash is a very important role in terms of storytelling. I am enjoying playing the character. I have to play a 20 year old boy who is little young for me, and when you get to play something opposite to your personality it is well enough to explore yourself. A lot of surprises are in store for Akash’s character, and the best part is that I have been getting a positive feedback from friends, family, fans and the team.”
