Akshit Sukhija on Shubharambh going off-air: The TRP reduced drastically and it was risky for the channel to continue

Akshit Sukhija gets candid about his show Shubharamabh.

MUMBAI: Recently it was declared that Colors' popular show Shubharambh will go off-air. This news left the diehard fans of the show heartbroken.

Akshit Sukhija and Mahima Makwana starrer which launched last year in December is all set to end in a few days. The news came as a huge shocker as it was totally unexpected.

In a recent exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Akshit spoke at length about his journey in Shubharambh, his views on the show going off-air, and future plans.

Talking about the show going off-air, Akshit said, "After the decision to end two shows of Colors was taken, I somewhere knew this was going to happen. However, I wished the show could have got some extension."

Akshit further added, "Practically I knew that if the TRP doesn't remain up to the mark, the makers would pull off the plug. The makers had planned a great track which was set to be introduced soon. However, the TRPs drastically dropped and even channel was not in a position to continue it any longer."

The actor revealed that he is looking forward to new opportunities post Shubharamabh.

Lastly, Akshit gave a message to all his fans and said, "I know everybody is heartbroken and I am really sorry as it is not in our hands. I'll be back on TV screens soon. Thank you for all the love."
