According to our sources, Kyuki Saas Bhi Bahu Thi and Ek Deewana Tha fame Amar Updhyay is being considered for the role of Krishnadevaraya in SAB TV’s Tenali Rama.

Let us tell you the full story.

Manav Gohil initially played the character of Krishnadevaraya in the show but quit the same. The show went ahead to introduce an interesting track to showcase Manav’s exit in the show. As per the mystery laden track, it was shown that King Krishnadevaraya and Tenali Rama goes missing post which the show took a major leap with several other characters being introduced.

Shakti Anand played the character of Balakumaran, the new king of Vijay Nagar while Tenali Rama’s son Bhaskar took over the show (Bhaskar being played by Krishna Bharadwaj himself who played the character of Tenali Rama).

Post lockdown, the makers have planned to bring King Krishnadevaraya back in the show. A source close to the project has informed us that Amar Upadhyay is speculated to be considered for the part.

We contacted Amar but he remained unavailable for the comment.
