MUMBAI: Amar Upadhyay has been garnering attention ever since it was announced that he has bagged Ekta Kapoor's new show. The actor and the producer’s association goes back a long way. Amar played the lead role in Ekta’s immensely popular soap Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and became a household name. 

Now, the actor is set to collaborate with the TV czarina after 15 long years and it is a piece of extremely special news for all the fans of the duo. 

Speaking about his bond with Ekta, Amar was all praises for the producer.

Expressing his feelings about working with Ekta again, Amar told TellyChakkar, "I feel fantastic and it's like I'm back home." 

"I'm feeling great to work with one of the fantastic producers who is truly a genius,” added the actor. 

Talking about his bond with Ekta, Amar said, "Our bond is fantastic. Though we haven't met much over the years, we share a great rapport." 

The upcoming show's name is Molkki and Amar will be playing the role of a Haryanvi person named Virender Pratap Singh. In the show, he will be seen opposite Priyal Mahajan.
