Seasoned actor Amit Behl is a man in despair. The reason for this being that his posh residence, Rushi Heights in Mumbai had a short circuit yesterday, and got burnt completely. 

The actor is presently in San Paolo, Brazil addressing the Federation of International Congress. 

When the accident occurred, Amit’s father, father-in-law and his adorable pets were at home. Fortunately the neighbours were of great help, and succeeded in rescuing the elderly members of Amit’s family. 

However, Amit’s pets (puppy and birds) who he considers as his dear babies breathed their last!! 

Sharing his grief about losing his babies, and also being thankful of his neighbours for the timely help rendered, Amit Behl shared on social networking site saying, “Thanx to my neighbours at Rushi heights, who helped & supported me in a time of crisis. My entire flat is burnt due to a short circuit,I was so helpless as I'm in S?o Paulo,Brazil attending the Federation of International congress,both my father & father in law are safe....I wish everyone has friends & neighbours like mine.....monetary losses can be recovered, but will my babies Rex,Rambo & Reno.....RIP (sic).”

We also hear that there has been a huge monetary loss for the actor.
