Amit Behl to team up with Yo Yo Honey Singh in a Punjabi film Zorawar

Amit Behl and Yo Yo Honey Singh

Talented actor Amit Behl, who is currently impressing viewers with his menacing act in Sony Entertainment Television’s Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zara (Rose Audio Visual’s Pvt Ltd), will be soon be seen kicking and punching in the high-in-action Punjabi film Zorawar.

As it is, the film is a much-awaited one with rapper-singer Yo Yo Honey Singh making a comeback as an actor. The film also stars TV actors Deepshika, Pawan Malhotra, Mukul Dev and VJ Bani.

Talking about the film, Amit shares, “It’s a typical Punjabi film with action, romance and fun. The film market in Punjab has become huge especially in foreign countries and having Honey Singh in it, the project will certainly be a crowd puller.”

So how is he managing to dabble between his show and this film simultaneously? “It does get difficult sometimes, but it’s manageable. But yes, soon we will be flying off to South Africa to shoot some sequences but with Ruslaan (Mumtaz) taking an off for his wedding, it might just get a bit of a problematic affair. But I am sure we will sort it out,” Amit observes.

The film, being produced by PTC Punjabi along with PTC Motion Pictures, is being directed by B-town director Vinnil Markan who had earlier helmed Jayanthi Bhai Ki Love Story for Ramesh Taurani.

The film is being currently shot extensively in Punjab and is expected to release sometime in June/July this year.

We wish Amit and the film great success.
