After enacting a triple role in the story of magician P.C. Sorkar in Zee TV’s Fear Files, talented actor Amit Dolawat will be seen essaying a charmer in Sahara One’s next story on Haunted Nights, produced by The Entertainment Hub. The story titled ‘Saaya’ will air from 1 April to 5 April 2013. We hear that unlike the typical horror stories, this particular plot will have elements of romance, fun, entertainment in addition to the horror element. Amit Dolawat essays the role of Abhishek who comes along with his girl friend Radhika, essayed by Shalini Saluja to the village to win over his girl friend’s family, so that he can get married to the girl. However, on coming to the village Abhishek gets to know that every girl who is about to get married in the village is found dead couple of days prior to the wedding. And he happens to be the only man who gets into the base of things, to know why such peculiar deaths are happening. As the story progresses, Abhishek gets to a point where he is ready to sacrifice his love and allow Radhika to get married to somebody else, as he only wishes that she lives. When contacted, Amit Dolawat confirmed this piece of news saying, “Yes, I have begun shoot for the episodic of Haunted Nights. I am simply enjoying playing this role as it has quite a lot of romantic sequences. This is my third association with the production house after Hi Padosi…Kaun Hai Doshi? and an en episodic for Haunted Nights earlier. Also, it is a privilege to work with Director Irfan Sheikh again.” Along with Amit Dolawat and Shalini Saluja, veteran actor Prithvi Zutshi will also be seen in the episodic story.
